Holy cow, those are some SERIOUS mold lines in picture 10..
I'm hoping thats a pre-production build up.
Likewise the shrinkage in the hull sides in pic #12
I am looking forward to the -50 and -75 for pure '46 what-if fun though..

I'm hoping that the E50 comes with an alternate gun barrel/mantlet set-up like in the IPMS Philippines sprue shots. And those flak turrets were really cool, too!
I think I'll use my DML Coelian turret on the E50 and use the E turret on a Panther.

Wow! That Grill looks like a real beast! Alas, a beastly price tag, too! Still, can't wait to see that kit up close and personal at the LHS or club meeting...

The E-50 and E-75 do look like they are completely based on the Cromwell kits. The E-75 has the L/100 gun, and the rangefinder bulges are not in line with the hull roof, which on the July '45 Tiger-B would've been at a steeper angle for the forward part, and extended to the front on the horizontal midsection to accomodate the range finder.
Still, they are very welcome additions

These new kits are very nice things!
Also I like the boxart images... especially the Grille in fabric-hall.
Hmm, what was with the E-5 tank? Was is also a paper-tank, or only a plan/ idea?
On some webpages it doesn´t exists.
greetings...

What's interesting is that they've redone the tracks more in line with Bruce Crosby's suggestion when he mastered it.

You mean the centre single guide-tooth? That is a nice touch.
Only problem is, both still do not have the idler with teeth as drawn in the Spezialpanzer book, and Panther und seine Abarten.
I'm also not sure about the tracks, the HLD drawings show a double link type of track, which is probably the new double link single centre guide tooth Panther track being developed to go together with the steel wheels.

I was also hoping that Trumpeter would have put in that toothed rear idler. I thought I saw it on the poster that was put up last year. My guess is that its a straight copy of the resin kit put into plastic. I recall Panzer Tracts stated that the preference was for a rear drive -- maybe Trumpeter got much later documentation saying it was not the case.
Anyways I doubt if its something that can't be worked out. Its still a very welcome release.
Cheers
Tat
