Hi everyone I just have one question. What paint color to use when painting an IDF Zelda? I only have access to Tamiya paints.

For the older 80's and 90's tannish brown color, I use Tamiya Flat earth for the exterior and Sky for the sea foam green interior. After weathering, the Flat earth looks pretty close to my eye.
I don't have a match for the newer more green color.
My $0.02 before tax cut...
Oh, wait...
I'm not a stinking-rich friend of GB... I'm not GETTING a tax cut.

when I say shadow I'm trying to describe those area that when light hits it would be in shadow. for example areas between or behind storage boxes, underneath overhangs, corners or around the TC ring. I spray the area with a fine point tip with the darker color I then spray the middle area with a lightened version of the base color. I apply my washes next(careful here adding to many or too heavy of a wash can make your model look like some one took a black pen and outlined it. then I over spray lightly with base color to meld everything together. I finish with varying drybrushing steps and artist oils for things like mud and other detail effects.
Just a note some modelers shadow their vehicles in a different way. they apply the darkest color first or prime with flat black. naot having used this method hopefully someone else can explain it.
