clear casting resin is great, but air inhibits the curing process so that the surface remains tacky. This is useful to help make sure each succesive coat sticks to the previous one, but is obviously undersirable for the final layer. I have heard several ways to remove this tack. Shep Paine suggests a gentle heat from a 100W bulb, and i read somewhere else that cling film positioned just above the surface works well. Can anyone suggest which of these (or other) methods work best?
