Good review Scott . The figures do have their imperfections ,that being said I have 2 sets and,they look ok on the Tamiya T-34s I've got .Would I use them on a more expensive / detailed kit , no . But at 2 bucks a figure you can't expect too much . A little work to rescribe seams in clothing and some new heads ,change a few arms and they look better than the 70s era half crew in the T-34 42 /43. And like you the seated crewman is my favorite.

The addition of a female crew member is a plus. What is are the scale proportions like on this offering?

They seem to match Mater Box bailout Russian crew in size . The female figure looks to Hollywood to me , I thought all those Russian girls in war photos were a little more " beefy". They are smaller in stature than the MiniArt tank crews ,but with the various sets MA have you can mix and match to get a fair number of crews. I guess it all depends on how " in scale" you want to be . These figures work for me. Jim

Thanks for the comments everyone. I have so far only built two of the standing figures. THe one, crewman E, is 49 mm tall - ~5'8", and the other, the lady, is 48 mm tall -5'6". They don't look very disproportionate, and work well with other brands.

Just a small correction. All the figures execpt the leather jacket guy are post-Stalingrad. They have the tall collar introduced in 1943 so cannot be used for pre-1943 scenes.

The girl's got the oddest pose - I have never used that figure because her torso is twisted, with one shoulder high, in a really unnatural way.

Miniart figures are definitely the way to go if you need commies for your tanks.
