My m-60a2 I won on ebay just arrived. Noticed it had been "worked on" a bit. Some OD sprayed on the larger componenets. No biggie, found missing however was the motor/drive assembly. Not that I particularly want that , but the metal shafts hold the sprocket and idler on. Push comes to shove, I can mke a suitable replacement, however..... If someone out there has any of this stuff laying around in a junk box, It would make my life a bit easier.. Don't want the toy motor, and can live without the gear box, but the metal shafts would be real cool. :-)

If someone out there has rods they can't spare measure the diameter and the length and either post the info here or PM me. I will scrounge around at the foundry. I probably have round stock Blaster can use. Blaster, if this pans out, I'll snail mail the pieces to you...

Shaun:
OK, the pieces are aprox 3 to 3.5 mm in diameter length is 85 mm. My home address is
802 LaCresta Crt
Grand Prairie, TX 75052
Greatly appreciate the offer, I probably would of hacked up some nails rather then had a shaft. This will work out considerably better than the alternative and easier

I cut a couple of pieces of high alloy brass rod for you this morning. They are 3.17 mm by 85 mm. I missed the mail today but I'll tape them to a piece of card board, stuff them in an envelope and shoot them toward the Lone Star State via snail tomorrow.

Thanks to Sabot and Keenan who both chipped in to solve my problem. This sort of thing is what makes being a member so great. I've sent model directions to people and small parts. I've traded with others. And the fun I've had reading and replying to posts as well as the exchange of knowledge. I'm sure glad I signed into this organization. So here's to everyone
