I need a good set of references or pictures of the M60 Engine. I have the AEF Designs kit and need good pictures of the engine and empty compartment. Thanks for any help. Web pages are fine...

I believe I still have some photos my brother sent me. He works for General Dynamics, Land Systems Division, and they also own Continental, makers of the AVDS-1790. I also have the -10 and think I have the -20, which contain some line drawings of some details. It will all require scanning, leter this week.

By the way, how is the set?

You might try going on line and query the Yahoo folks with "AVDS-1790." The abbreviation as I recall stand for"Air Cooled, V-shaped, Diesel, Super Turbo Charged. 1790 refers to the cubic inches. It is a 750 horsepower as compared to the AGT-1500 M-1 series engine which is a 1500 HP engine. Pictures should be easy to come by.

Just found my pictures of the darn engine and compartment on a CD I had archived to last year.... thanks. I knew I had them... just could not remember what the heck I did with them.
