Would anyone know what a radio directional finding antenna would look like as used by the Germans during the D-Day invassion. I would like to add something as such on a 250/3 for a dio I've been working on. Google came up with nothing useful.

Bob,
They would be crossed loops, either square or circular. Not sure of the size, because I don't know what the freq range would be. Usually, receiving antennas would be 1/4 wavelength, so you would need to know the freq range to determine wavelength.
I googled Radio Direction finding antennas and came up with some hits.

Steve, Stephen, Thanks for the fast repies. Just what I needed. Now, if some one knows where it would be mounted in a 250/3, I'll be off to the work bench.
