Towing cables for T-34/85... Correct length?

I think that there are different types of towing cables, but I'm talking about the towing cables for a T-34/85 model '44 or '45... Which is the correct length? The Zvezda T-34/85's are exactly 9.35 cm (not including the heads). AFV Club T-34/76 model 1942's are 12 cm (again, not including the heads) I've seen some finished kits out there with VERY long towing cables... So I want to know which is the proper length if there was a stardart. Thanks in advance. Best regards.
