Hello Razvan:
There are a few options nowadays. You could try to use pre-made Mig Productions filters or go more "old fashion" style and get a few tubes of artist oil paints (any brand will work although personally I think Winsor & Newton has a better pigment quality) and use some mineral spirits or turpentine as thinner.
The colors I use depend on the effect desired but roughly, for that kit and the color you are using as a base ou can use:
-Raw sienna
-Raw umber
You can always combine those with small amounts of titanium white to achive some tonal varition...
Hope this helps.

Hello Razvan,
I think it still looks somewhat "toy-like" and lacking depth & contrast.
I'd give it some dark pin washes (for example burnt siena + a little black) in the recesses and around the raised parts. That should help give it more dimension.
Plenty of information & suggestions on this site about washing techniques if you have a dig through the archives.
