Hey Dutchie,
Interesting subject for your diorama and it's looking good so far. What colours did you use for the wood?
Greetings,
Max

I use Oilpaint ( so, the tubes) for the wood. Mix some different brown collors, apply them 'thick' and then start brushing if of using a flat dry brush untill you think you have the right color.

This is a kit I'd love to have a go at. I'll be following with interest. Have you checked out the Firing LIne for additional props? They have some great WW1 stuff.

As I found out last year, WW1 doesn't press anyone's button, I think WW1 is overlooked in so many ways, but, trenches, tanks, aircraft, troops, its all good for making a darn good diorama and that's what you have yourself there.
Have you picked a year ? Winter, Spring, Summer or that other quarter of the year, once you have set yourself up, the option for weathering is endless, rip open a sandbag, or bullet holes, splintered wood, 120 is a big old size, mine was 1-72. Look forward to seeing more.

Hi Dutchie,
This looks great! The figure puts the rest in good perspective now.
I like the painting of the figure, he looks perhaps a bit to clean in some way for a trench.
Cheers
Claude
