This is the first I've seen of the new format, and I must say it's fantastic. Nice one, Jim!

The only comment I have is that I'd still like to see more photos of each entry. With so many great entries it's difficult to decide with just one picture. If more photos can't be inserted, perhaps staff would consider creating a composite picture of 4 or 5 photos? I know it'd be more work on your parts (like you don't have enough work as it it ) but you could use it in the OD's later so the work would go to waste. Just my 0.02 Shemolians

Once again, fantastic work on the new format. I know how much effort you guys have put into this, from conception to implementation

I agree with Rudi, more pictures (3 in total) would help a lot.

Has anyone checked if one can vote several times? I think I just did it

Hello

A lot of great entries this month; REALLY HARD to choose one because they're all marvelous! There has been a nagging issue for me though; how do you not know someone's entry isn't been stacked of votes by friends who know the person? i.e. people are creating accounts or are just friends of the builder that recognizes or know of the build before and just votes for it not based on what they think is the "best", but because they're friends. In other words, their vote is being swayed by extraneous variables.

I believe that they said in the Rules for entering that they can actually get the IP address for each vote. If that is the case then there friends would have to logs onto several different computers. Plus there has to be some kind of integrity for this contest. I'm not saying people wouldn't try it

My vote is in.

Good luck guys!

Hey,

Well I recall someone from Poland entering a model that wasn't even his into the DMoM and won; speak of integrity huh? To add more insult to injury, a staff member here added one of "his" models as a feature... What the heck!? I don't get it. Oh, what I meant by friends, is current users here, not "outside" friends; but then again, there are a lot people out there with no integrity, morals, values that would try anything to gain a quick buck. Society has really gone into the ground.

I guess that's the problem with honor systems; it takes one bad apple to ruin it for everyone.

I think the new voting system is much better, hopefully the moderators can spot any unusual voting patterns which could indicate cheating. What we need is to get more people to vote so that weight of numbers makes 'friends' voting for each other irrelevent.

Just to add my comment: I think the new system is great, keep it up! Hopefully there will be more entries now that visibility has been increased.

Cheers

A little advice Alexander. Try to think for few minutes before you send such idiocies publicly.... Try to understand how things work here and in the features section. It should help.

Keith, thank you for putting an additional link to promote the DMOM.

If you are refering to Keith's bulldozer feature, I don't see how someone could think that is not fair or favoritism. It is an outstanding model of a very unique subject. Have you ever submitted photo's of you completed work for a feature?? Maybe that would be something you want to try...

Will you be able to see your votes in the end, how many each model got?

System is much nicer. I'm sure there is at least one model in there that is 1/72, but can't see it attracting many votes. Maybe there could be an occasional braille only competition, a couple of times per year?
