Hello everyone.

So I talked to Jason about the TUSK conversion kit and he said to get the one that is closet in demensions to the Italeri kit. What I am needing is the Dimensions for the Tamiya and the Dragon M1A2 Abrams kit's ( the ones listed on the box should do ). If any of you have these kits could you please put them up here for me so i can compare them to my italeri kit.

Thank you,
Mark

I believe they are all the same dimensions in hull and turret size. I have swapped parts between them and had no issues.

Also, the Italeri M1A2 is a slightly modified repop of the Trumpeter M1A2, so the dims on it would also work.

Here is a comparison of most of them that may help.

I can run a set of calipers over a DML M1A2 Sep tomorrow for you. I only have a Tamiya M1A1 if that helps, And I can also check the M1 from Academy but that kit is horrible.

After looking at those pictures I think that I am going to go with Legends Tamiya TUSK kit as most of the Italeri/Tamiya pieces look closer to each other than the Italeri/Dragon.

Also that is pretty funny the the Italeri/Trumpeter are the same pieces with little change between them.

I also need to get aftermarket tracks ( hate those black rubber ones ) who do you guys preffer for Af.-Mar. tracks.

AFV Club makes a nice set of T158 square-block tracks. Bronco does a set of the newer T158LL tracks with hollow guide teeth that look very nice as well.
