I am trying to decide between two airbrushes that fit my budget. The Badger 155 Anthem and the Iwata HP-BCS. Any comments on either.

Thanks,
Dave S.

I used the Badger 350 as my first brush. I have been using the Badger 150 for a number of years, but it suffered a fatal fall onto a concrete floor while I was cleaning it. I actually managed to bend the main body. So it is time to upgrade, or at least move laterally. It was time to get something that will spray a little bit finer lines anyway. This accident just speeds up the proccess.

Dixon I'm not familiar with that particular badger brush, and the Iwata...I'm not even going to try to remember which one that is. If it's a double action one it's good. I however, opted for badger's 360 Universal because I like a gravity or side feed cup. For big jobs, you can spin the front around to accept a siphon feed bottle. I got it on recommendation from a guy who's used both brands and the badger was less money for similar quality.

Thanks guys,
I ended up ordering the Badger Anthem. I had looked also at the 360 Universal, but felt that there was to much of a chance for leakage with the swivel seals. I also almost never used the cup on any of my old brushes anyway. It came down to the parts breakout on both. The Iwata just had too many parts when compared to the Badger. I believe in keeping it simple, just like me....

I think that the most simple AB is the Paschee Single Action (Model H). I have one and love it. Itīs cheap, strong and very easy to clean. It also has a very good customer service via their web page. I live in Argentina and bought some spare parts. They answer inmediatly to my request of prices and delivery time. They shipped my order last week, two days after I ordered.

I've got a Paasche H & now a VL (not used at the moment). It will be tested out shortly. But in general, Paasche seem to be great products!!!
