You're right, this would be one excellent release. I can guarantee I'd buy one.

The one thing that worries me is that the PR literature only shows a CAD.... That worries me a bit as it signifiies (to me) that the project is either in the early stages, or worse, they are floating a trial balloon to get our reactions.

Let's hope it is something forthcoming

Patrick

AFV Club do tend to produce what is shown in their advertising literature. Your quite right it may be this time next year before we actually see the kit here in the UK. Its possible to produce this version with an AFV Stryker and the Blast resin add on kit. Whilst an excellent addition for the AFV Stryker, it would be very expensive.
Hears hoping it comes soon

I'm in the process now of finishing up the Blast conversion with a M1126 Stryker !
Wish I would have waited a little bit longer, to save me some expensive euro's !!!

Well, the great news is that I've heard it on good authority that this kit is real, and not a trial balloon. Yay!!

Many of afv clubs announced kits that havent seen the light of day yet have been entirely new kits, whereas at least with this they already have most of the stryker, it just involves making the mine plow and marking stakes, as well as some smaller details. So I have no doubt that this kit will appear soon. I'll buy at least three!

Hi all,
the M1132 ESV is difinitly not just a project by AFV Club! I saw in Nuremberg the sprue of the vehicle deck. AFV Club obviously changed the molding of the upper hull. On their M1134
ATGM, they made a new hull with interchangable deck sections. The M1132 ESV kit will also
include a nice little TALON EOD robot. AFV Club has obviously gone into competition with Trumpeters ESV kit.. I hope that either AFV Club or the aftermarket will release the AMP, LMR and Obstacle Blade as well.

Can`t wait to lay my hands on one.

Hi Frenchy,

yes, I noticed the Blast kits. I actually bought me their HMMWV SPARK and turned it into an LMR for the Blast ESV conversion.

Thanks
