Anyone know any good brands that have a World War 1 series for scale models? A friend of mine is looking for a couple of them.

Scale Link, Metal Modeles, JMD, Andrea, all make WWI figures. Scale Lnk s probably your best bet for dios.

There are a couple of manufacturers who do plastic- ICM and Emhar. Wouldn't go so far as to call them good though.
I used the ICM WWI British and German Infantry in a dio with an EMHAR Mk V tank recently. If you use Hornet heads you can get a decent figure.
In resin, Historica Hobbies has a reasonable range.

Something to bear in mid is that Scale Link figures are 1/32 scale. Japanese Armor King do a range of 1/35 scale figures
