Very nice.
My only comment is that the soldiers are pretty shiny.

good dio, very clean, the paint is good , however like the person before me , the figures look a bit shiny but it doesn't take away from the story line. keep up the good work , bravo!

I like it . The way the grass is rutted up as they pushed the gun up looks nice. On the critical side to improve it ....my two cents worth is that you repaint the figures in a flatter paint. You might also add a lot of extra ammo and ammo boxes as just a few clips would not encourage the crew to open fire. Maybe add a camoflage net or some more trees and brush behind the gun. If the gun was meant to cover only an area forward of the gun a lot of camo ,like trees and nets should be behind it so that planes couldnt see it easily when approaching from the back side. ...........Not bad though, nice job.......Al

Yes thats right it s a probleme for me paint the german soldier is not easy I don t do that often ... they are too shiny and too clean for be in the mud ..
there are no ammo box and no other detail because it s atest for me i need to be better on painting before add many many (expensive details) on my dioramas ... i just add the both three and the sand bag ...
It s a sort of diorama out of box
The next one will be better ...

Very nice indeed. Say, Gossweiler, could you take a close-up picture of the flak gun? Would like to see it closer as it looks pretty nice but is a bit too far to see clearly.
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Gosswieler, A lot of those expensive extras can be avoided by scratch building them yourself out of every day things that you find around the house or hardware and or craft stores. As you get better at it you will see what I mean.....this is a nice dio............Al

Nice dio. To fix the figures, just give them a coat of dullcote lacquer. Just make sure you mix it completely. That will take out the shine you have. Cost about $2.00 here in the U.S. Hopefully you can find something like it where you are or someone there will know where to get it. You might want to add some other vegitation like tall weeds and such. Keep up the good work.

Nice little dio dude! The figs are awfully shiny.....maybe you could spray it with a little dull-coat. The sand bags look the the old Tamiya set. You did a good job with them if they are. those things are Horrible! Good job bro!

I agree with Art, you didn't do bad at all with those tamiya sandbags. To me those particular bags have a funny shape and are way too big . Imagine a single soldier filling and moving bag after bag of sand bags that are that big. I have some too but am going to use them somewhere as bags of rice or flour because that is what they remind me of......Al

Bags of rice, you must have a bug in my hobby room because that's exactly what I used them for with a modification. To make them look more like burlap. grab a pair of the wifes old stockings, coat with liquid glue and stretch over, secure with a clip till dry and trim off the extra. Don't stretch too tight on the stocking or the material wont look like it's weave is right.

yes the sand bags are the old tamyia ...
I have this box from many time it was the goos moment to use theme ... I add a lots or real sand to fill some hole .. because it s impossible to build a real wall with these bags ..
