Hi Guys,
Just looking at IBG Models web site they currently have in 1/72 scale:
Bedford QLD, QLT, QLR, QLB and the Fire Tender.
On the 15cwt Chevrolet they do also in 1/72 scale:
Chevrolet with No 13 Cab: Water Tanker, General Service, Personnel Lorry and Australian Wireless Truck.
Chevrolet with No 11 Cab: Water Tanker, General Service and Personnel Lorry.
In addition to these they have 5 conversion sets to convert the above 15cwt with either the No 13 or No 11 Cab as necessary.
Now if this were to translate long term into 1/35 scale that woulod be something indeed and what a gap in the market it would fill.
I'm hoping to build my resin QLR this year so a plastic version shouldn't be far behind. With all the Bofors guns coming along I also imagine a QLB would be very popular and the 15cwt can be used Army, RN, RAF as appropraite.
I'm really looking forward to seeing their 1/35 scale developments in the British Trucks field, The announcment of the QLD and 15cwt in 1/35 scale is an excellent start . Best news of the Nuremberg Show for me.

This is great news, I have a couple of the 1/72 kits and they are great even if markings are mainly for Polish Allied units (QLD and QLR). This is most welcome thank you IBG

Hi Luciano,
If they start bring some of the 15cwts out with the No 11 Cab so much the better.

Wow! 40 years of the meager offerings from Tamiya and Italeri, now new companies everywhere! And it seems manufacturers can't wait to release Allied subjects the last two years! It's like a huge beautiful wave and we're along for a sweet ride!

Hi Matt,
Too true. I was thinking that is they did their first 15cwt with the No 11 Cab rather than the No 13 cab, that it would be a much better opening kit as it would be brand new in 1/35 scale and probably more popular than the 15cwt with the No 13 cab which has been available from Italeri for years.
These are certainly great days. I shall await developments.

This is good news. More Allied stuff, AND more soft skins.
Now is somebody would just come out with some more Allied artillery, 6 pounder, 17 pounder, 5.5 inch, etc. to pull behind.
