You are truly the master of this scale. Excellent work!
Still love to know how you did the fence
Thanks Mike!!!
I will try to take some photos of how I constructed the fence
and add them among the pictures in this post...
Cheers

..... It will probably be entered in the diorama classes
for most of the competitions and not many have a dedicated class for 1/72 scale
dioramas so they will have to go up against the big boys in 1/35 so they will probably
not win anything but that won't break my heart since they will hopefully get some attention
on the tables anyway...
You´re way too modest Sven-Åke. Your 1/72 dios can hold their own on any table, no matter what the scales are. Have seen seen them .... and judged them. I´ll be extra careful this year though ... if you are coming with a loaded gun
Glad to hear they will be going on a tour ... hopefully that means Stockholm in March? Will Mr. Grufstedt be accompanying them this year? Can´t wait to see them up close.

Sven-Ake, you did it again my man ! This is pure art.
Thanks!!!
Since I'm not known for using any reference material, art is perhaps a more
appropriate word for this dio
So glad you like it!!!

That's fantastic work and a great idea. I love scenes that show the lighter, less gritty side of war. I too thought it was 1/35 until I saw that last picture. I'm impressed.

Wow, the scene looks very good!
The ground and plants have a "real touch" (for me) and also I like peacefully war-scenes.
The composition with the real photo fits perfect!

Thanks Soeren!!!!
I could never do an "action" scene for a number of reasons. The two main ones would
be that it does not appeal to me and it's very very difficult to achieve any type of realism
with bullets flying etc.
So peaceful scenes is what I will always do
Cheers and thanks for your comment!!!

Thanks David!!!
I have had a few comments saying that it looks like 1/35 and that is almost the
best comment I can get... It means that my work is approved
Many thanks!!!

Thanks Albert!!!
I wouldn't do it any other way... I love doing relaxed scenes with a pinch of humor
sprinkled on top... It's also more challenging to do, both to come up with the idea
and to find the appropriate figures and other props to make it work.
Thank You Very Much!!!
Cheers

Sven-Åke,
Well executed piece of work. What I like are all of the colors (crew, stowage, pigs and ground foliage) that surround and tie in the worn and faded out single color scheme of the tank.
Thanks for posting and sharing your work here. Excellent set of photos too!

Thanks Eddy!!!
I think it's very important to have the colors blend in a subtle manner. I also like it when
there's one or two items with colors that really don't belong but by being there creates
some further interest for the whole scene.
I work very much with mixing the different colors so they work very well together and
for this dio I used a flesh tone that I mixed with all the colors to get that uniformal look.
Glad you like it

Excellent work, I really like the tone of the colors in this vighette.
A work of a master IMO.
