As far as I know, yellow instead of grey, in 1941 sounds strange... but i'm no expert !

I would expect that the LeFH18, like any of the other German equipment would have started out grey, then either showing up or repainted in dark yellow after the edict changing color schemes came out.

Hi Dave. At that time of the campaign the artillery and all other equipment would have been the "panzergrau". Off the top of my head I cannot think of the RAL #. Tactical markings would have been on the elevation tubes on either side of the gun barrel or with the 18 on the one (I thinks it one elevation cylinder). How you been? Still working on the Ba20M. I'll catch up to you in the chat.
(++) If you need any research photos let me know I should be able to scan them to you.

Thank you guys for the answers, I guess Panzergrau then.
Kev, been busy at office for quite some times now, and had done the construction of the LeFH18 talking about a hard kit. Definitely the most difficult I ever done even compare to the Tiger with the 35K01 and Friul. But it's a fun build. I catch you in the chat as well. Cheers, Mate.

Hi DAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How's life treating you on the other side of the world ?
I hope all is well ?
From June 1940 up until the change to dunkelgelb in Feb.1943 , Artillery would follow the same base as the panzers - Dunkelgrau RAL 46. However you might want to dig a bit deeper and see if some had any patches of dunkelbraun ( dark-brown ) over the base.
Tree branches & mud was a common means for camouflaging ( But you know that

Well, as you're an EXCLUSIVE GERMAN ARMOR BUILDER (++) , you could build a sherman, captured by the german and reused against american troops... but still OD !
