Any Brit tankers who can help with advice on the sort of gear that would be carried in the turret stowage baskets of a Chieftain at BATUS?
Also the kit jerry can has two handles, all the pics I have show three handles. Which is right?
Some pics show a single handled can that appears to have a filler each side of the handle, would this be a water container?
Finally, what is the correct colour for jerry cans and water containers?

i cant help you with the stowage, but the jerry cans i can
the correct jerry cans do have three handles and are virtually identical to the ww2 ones, try the ones in tamiyas allied vehicle accessory set their about as close as in plastic, or accurate armour in resin are even better. they are the same colour as the afv they are on
the one handled ones are for water and are black plastic, again try AA
hope this helps

Thanks Joe. I am converting the kit jerry can to three handles, and I have cut the resin one out of the Castoff stowage basket and am converting that to the water can!
