I need a source to obtain a 1/35 scale map used in France in ww ii. Does anybody know one?
Thanks...

Hmmm,

Just my to cents, but a map in 1/35 scale dos not show many details so most maps can be used for any region (as long that you don't use a green map in a dessert setting )

Exception to the rule are beach maps, here you can see landmarks and if it can help, I have on my site several D-DAY maps under the 'Diorama Building References' section.

ExtraDetail sells 1/35th scale post WWII maps. Not quite what you're looking for -- may work?
You can also scan in a map and reduce it on the computer. The detail lost wont matter as Ronny mentioned.
May be able to draw one or check out a RR shop to see if there are alternatives.

just take an actual map maybe from an internet-route-planer.
then open that graphic in a graphic-editor like photoshop and resize the image by the factor 1/35.
don't know if it works and if there are any details recognisable, but maybe worth a try.

I thought it would show the details even at that scale, but you are right, I have to try it first. Thanks for the ideas.
