Hay "Gino" should I paint the full model or can I only paint the areas were I need to place decals?

You can do it either way. I like to gloss the whole model, then apply the decals and let them dry well. Then I put on another coat of gloss to level it all out. After that has dried, I put a couple coats of dullcoat to flatten it all down again.

She is done. I added MB Models indi-link tracks and modified some of them by cutting the ends off AFV Club T97 (M48/M60) spare tracks with stays to be T80 spare tracks. I also added various stowage from the spares box and tied it all down with some ship's rigging string.

Oh man "Gino" that turned out realy well but there's a slit shine to her or that may be the photos and flash, but don't thing that takes any thing away from you work man this was a realy fast and mistake free build "Magnificent" work "Gino".
I feel I must build that M51 now as well, but it would take me way to long as I put to much work in to the little bitty details like in my Merkava.

Always good to see those M1s built up, everybody seem to get stuck on the M50s and M51s. Since you built this for someone else it might not be a big deal, but for those who might want to do their own, thought I might point out some details you missed.
First is the infantry call box.
It seems all M1s were set up for the canvas mantlet cover. It's hard to find a picture without it, but I found a couple. If the cover is not mounted the mounting points are still there (outlined in red). Also you missed the searchlight mount (outlined in yellow).
Even the early M1s had these items. Another thing is the horn guard cover (outlined in blue). That one is not really a big deal because I've seen M1s without it, but most have it.
Overall a nice kit.

That's not an infantry call box on the side. It's the first aid box mounted on post-war U.S. tanks. Here is a M4A3E8 in Korea. First aid box outlined in red, infantry call box ( different from the Israeli style) out lined in yellow.

They are not the same.

Superb build Gino I'm sure your customer is really going to enjoy it. Not all Shermans had the search light mounts i'l dig some pictures if you want. One thing about Israeli armour there is sometimes the trouble finding enough reference and information.
