Hey,
I was wondering what the interest would be for a Trench/Foxhole/Weapons Pit Campaign.
I was thinking any of the two World Wars, any country, the diorama must have a trench, weapons pit or foxhole in it, it need not have figures and can be any size and any scale. For example I will probably make a US 81mm Mortar Pit. My idea for the campaign is to not have many restrictions, it will not be a contest and after its completion I will make a MSN photo folder for the campaign and hopefully have a good response and have some great fun.
? As for the campaign ribbon, any ideas? I was thinking something with a spade on it or a molehill? - Feel free to post pictures of your ideas here!
? As for starting date how does November sound?
? Any ideas of a name for the campaign? I was thinking Operation Molehill?
? Any body more experienced and higher ranking than me want to take over?
I will check this forum next week and determine where to go next and make a new forum regarding that.
Note: This is just info gathering, I have not spoken with the moderators as of yet, so nothing has been confirmed.

Before the secong dio campaign started and they were looking for ideas, This was something like what I suggested. To have a trench or bunker or sandbagged protection, gun or mortar, and a few figures ...... whether they be crew, dead, 1 crew and 2 attackers, etc, etc. I have all the suitable stuff for this (probably why I suggested it), so I for one would be interested. November sounds good to me as well! Good luck with this.

I'm in. Sounds like fun. WIth the WIndow Campaign, I scratchbuilt a building and used snow. For the Splash Campaign, I used resin for water for the first time. I've never built a foxhole or trench. This should be interesting.

Hi,
If a bunker from Atlantic Wall is valid, count me in.

I have the Tamiya 88mm Flak 36/37. Looks like a chance to build a "Band of Brothers" dio.

How about a dio with a shocked soldier keeping his head down as a tank rolls over the trench?

Thanks Jusjus80, The snow is from Woodland senics and is call apropriately enough snow. Just make a mixture of white glue and white paint on your groundwork and sprinkle the snow on top. If you want to make drifts just add more glue to the mixture to make it thicker.
