I am building this kit right now. I am nearly finnished. The only minor gripe are the too large slits for attaching many of the smaller parts, like fender supports, etc. and some sink holes.
For the rest I can say itīs a well engineered kit. (O.K.- I didnīt start the tracks, yet).

nice review of a very interesting subject.
I have built bronco's abrams workable tracks and they are similar (in building process) to the ones in this kit. a bit tiring (6 parts per track link) the end result is very good. from what i see in the pictures, the upper segment of the tracks (2 pads + guiding horn) come as a single part (unlike the abrams, where you have the guiding horn and the pads separate), so it'll make the process easier (in my opinion). all in all, looks like a very well done kit. the only thing that looks "intimidating"building it is if someone would attempts the digi-cam. not just 3 colors, but you need to use lighter and darker shades of them too. not to the faint of heart
