The Italian 90/53 was an anti aircraft gun that also doubled as an anti tank gun. The 90 referring to the 90mm calibre and the 53 referring to the barrel length.
The 90/53 was produced by Ansaldo and entered service in 1939.

Some of these guns were mounted on Semovente tank destroyers to produce the Semovente 90/53. This particular kit depicts a 90/53 mounted on top of a 1938 Lancia 3RO Truck.

Italeri 7508 comes with gun, Lancia 3RO truck and 8 figures. Hope you like my build

That's a nice looking little kit, and you've done a nice job on it. Just the other day I posted a photo of my resin 1/35 version, but alas, still no paint.

Nice job on this build buddy. Looks like an interesting theme to model.

About the figures, are they worth working with?

Not to me they are not. The figures and the gun are from a different set Italeri released

The plastic is so hard to clean. I think they tried to improve from the soft vinyl figures and tried a new "hard" plastic. It is hard all right. Hard to clean 400 grit sandpaper couldn't sand the flash off. Using a knife or blade would be best.

Thanks for sharing, Toby, You continue this recent theme of unusual braille subjects with this very nice but ugly beast. I like your weathering, not excessive but effective.

Cheers,
Jan

Thank you Jan and Kerry !

BTW, I forgot to mention that this is a snap-together kit. Yup! No glue needed to put most of the 30pcs together. Fits perfectly together.

Hi Toby. Great little truck .... very unusual. Pity they didnīt do this in 1/35 scale.
Looks like Italeri donīt strive for excelence in any scale of figures ... their 1/35 figures are only bin material as well.
