Several members have recently written in drawing others’ attention to a TV programme running late night at the moment on ITV1. It features convoy work from the ‘Loggies’. The Royal Logistic Corps.
There are masses of interesting shots of all manner of vehicles, old and new, in service situations in Afghanistan. It is a bit ‘Gung Ho.’ at times and the conversation can be a bit gritty but a great source of potential for dioramas.
It is a good record of the ups and downs of modern service life. Sadly the series finished tonight but there are several ways of getting playbacks and no doubt a DVD to follow.
