Hi,
I've got an Academy M113 set aside to apply the Accurate Armour PNMK "Wildcat" conversion to. Does anybody know of an aftermarket set to do the applique that most recent photos of these vehicles seem to be fitted with. Alternatively, does anybody know of plans or (I can't really tell whether this is the case from the photos) if the turret has applique, or it's just the hull sides? The side applique looks pretty simple to replicate with a little Evergreen.
Thanks,
Al

One option would be to use the armor from the MR Modellbau Swiss Army M113 Schuetzenpanzer 63/89 w. add-on armour MR-35067 conversion:
http://www.mrmodellbau.com/_shop/product_info.php?info=p314_Swiss-Army-M113-Schuetzenpanzer-63-89-w--add-on-armour.html
The rest of the kit could then be used to build a Schuetzenpanzer 63/73.
If you pick up the Modelling the M113 Series book, the author scratch builds the hull and turret armor.

Thanks for the plug Paul, though be advised I pooched the turret armour on my build. There's better refs out there now.
For the OP, its great beginner scratchbuild project.

Consider "Modeling the M113" added to my "Books To Buy" list. While I'm not a complete novice scratchbuilder, I'll take easy scratchbuilding over the complex kind any day :-)
Thanks,
