Hi Guys !

Thinking about doing the M-51 and adding a tank crew (6 day war 1967).

Can anyone suggest the best Resin or Styrene tank crew out there for this time frame please ?

Nothing jumps out on Google and evil-bay doesn't have anything in the searches I've tried that appears to fit.

Any feedback will be much appreciated

PS: I don't believe Hornet have any heads that are completely accurate, am I correct ?

Cheers

Paul

Will these do for you? Academy's IDF Tank Crew set.

The Hornet heads are a great replacement.

cheers;

Bob, those are a little too modern for '67. I've actually used Tamiya's WWII tanker set and gotten away with it. (no refund demanded anyway)
I'm having a hell of a time converting a few Tamiya 1/25 scale heads to '67 Israeli tankers for the big Cent. Sculpting figures is not my forte.

That's a nice set. You don't often see the Soviet style helmet. Still, I think I'd add the Hornet heads to them.

The Academy set is for the 1980's, while the Mig set is for the 1950's. This Hobbyfan set is for the 1967 war:

Hope this helps.

Thanks Guys !!

Perhaps part of the solution could be the crew from the Academy kit with Hornet heads ?

Thoughts ?

Hi Robert !

Which Tamiya Tankers did you use ?

Did you use Hornet heads on those ? Do you have pics ?

Cheers

I think the set was called US Army WWII Tank Crew. Two of them had the leather helmet, and I didn't bother replacing the heads. I don't even know if i knew about Hornet back then. This was at least 12 years ago, so no pics. I just put one each in a couple of Cents I built for someone in Japan.
