I was thinking of trying Future as a clear coat for my decals but I first am wondering,
If I applied an enamel clear coat over the future would it cause problems.
ie. Eat away my coat of future and make a mess.
P.S. I only use enamels because thats what I have access to.
Thanks,

I never had problems using Future as a base for decals either on enamels and acryls. Once applied, seal your decals with another coat of Future and then overcoat with a flat enamel or acryl.

My usual process for decals is future, decal, future, clearcoat. I have had no problems applying Testors dulcote or any other solvent (enamel) based finish over future.

I would suggest you let the future cure thoroughly before overspraying with enamel...I'd give it at a couple days. Once it cures it should be OK.

Kent
cant agree more with grifter more... Let your paint cure for a few days to avoid any mishaps.. If you are still in doubt give it a try on a piece of styrene or an old kit that you have kicking around...
