VERY interesting variant... Is that cupola from something else or is it extemporized?

Jim I dont understand your question
The cupola is a lebanese home made cupola. It can be seen on regular army or mitian Stag 3 turret
As there is not many pics available I build mine with the few poor references I have. So the global dimensions could be right but details are supposed.....
If any one have more pics I will be happy to see them TIA

So the Lebanese Militia added the turret themselves - it looked as if it came from something else? I've seen one or two pictures of the Stag III with that modification - nothing which shows much detail though...
It was a good decision, on your part, to do the conversion. The Stag III's an interesting vehicle but VERY badly-documented. Apart from the preserved examples, there aren't a lot of 'in-theater' images available. I've got mine built but desperately looking for ideas as to finish.
I even considered a 'What-if' for a Commonwealth vehicle in Japan 1946...

Jim the turret is a modified Crusader Mk III turret fitted with a 75mm gun and wasn't fitted by the Lebonease they simply modified the Crusader turret with a new coupler and other little bits . I've got a walk around of it in 2nd Canadian corps markings from a Magazine article of the Mk III if your interested?
Pascal very nice work indeed could you tell me what make the barrel is? Great work keep it coming.
Jaymes.

Hi Pascal, nice kit, but I should tell you that "Mourabitoun" and "Jaish Loubnan al Arabi" aka Arab Army of Lebanon (the decale on the turret) are 2 different Militias, and the "mourabitoun" word is mispelled, it should be المرابطون

Tidy. You just confused me with your statement asking whether the Lebanese Militia added the crusader turret or not.

It was badly phrased on my part - I wondered if the cupola had come from another vehicle.
Sorry for the confusion!

My decals are inspirated from the well known pics from a mourabitoun Stag. The left hand side from the car are copy from the pic. Right side is supposing as there is no pics available.
For the writing as they are hand writing it is supposed that a mistake or a bad writer can make this.
My home made decals are designed by a french guy who can hebrew and arab writing and speaking.
Other wise i know US or GB velicles with german markings and German vehicles with US markings. Recuperation Its a common practice during wars

ah sorry, never saw that pic, but anyway, they were 2 separate militias but with the same enemy "Kataeb" and the same ideology (Abdel Nasser socialism) , so not strange to see their markings on the same vehicle.
the "Mourabitoun" in the pic is correctly written, all you have to do is add a point over the last letter ن and a ا over the ط
anyway, it's your kit, you are free to do whatever you want, and it's a great kit, Im looking forward to seeing the Kataeb version, keep us updated with pics.
