I thought I would share a couple works in progress that likely will not be done any time soon, I have a horrible habit of starting many at a time not finishing just one in a timely manner...but that's another story.
I have converted both a Trumpeter KV-1 1942 Heavy Cast into a KV-9 using the Eastern Express mantlet and adding a turned aluminum U-11 122mm howitzer barrel from Model Point. Some shaving and fitting was necessary and I hope it looks decent at least.
The other is a Tamiya ISU-152 converted into a ISU-122 by replacing and modifying the gun mount with a CMK A-19 aluminum barrel. I kept shaving the mount till I could get the barrel to be alittle more flush with the mantlet, also ended up filing a line through the end of the aluminum barrel then making a tab from strip styrene to seat it better while the super glue dried in place.
Hope things look ok, feel free to comment if you feel to.

You have done a fine job. Looks good. Thinking about it, too.
