Hello all
This is my first example of my work on the net. I have been out of the hobby for about 18 years. I came to Iraq last November and was looking for something to do in my off time. I have watched this site for years and figured why not give Models a second chance. I asked here if any one knew anyhing about some of the kits that were sent over to Iraq for the MWR program. A got a reply from AikinutNY, who sent me a few kits.(Thanks again!) A quick back story for those whe are interested.
I am part of a Navy unit helping the Army guard detainees in Taji Iraq. One of the things we are doing is driving busses and other large vehicles. We have a habit of running them into things that the Army would like us not to. The Army makes a big deal about running a few things over and the like so it has been a major issue here. This became my outlet to dealing with all the paperwork and redtape with this issue.
Enough of my ramblings, here are some pics. Sorry about the poor quality of the pics. The kit is straight out of the box and the boxes came from a guy on here (OIF printables) Hope you like it.

Thanks Russel, I finally got to try some of the new things I have seen and read about on here. There have been lots of changes since I worked on these. Back in my day (when kids walked to school in the snow, up hill both ways) Shepard Paine stuff was the way to go. Glad to see that people have added easier ways to do things.
