I'd like ot thank all those that took part in the second monthly meeting, it was good to see some familiar faces as well as a few new people there as well.
As for some of the ideas we thrashed around with regarding campaigns, i will look into those as soon as i can get things back to normal. No point posting campaigns under the name of Klink as it hope full wont be around for much longer.
The two main campaign ideas where Helicopters and out of commission military equipement. The thought being that they allow plenty of scope for people from all modelling communities to contribute e.g. aircraft, armour and ships & possibly sci-fi stuff too, this would certainly apply to damaged tanks, aircraft, ship or spacecraft.
For those interested in Helicopters well we all know the army has them and the airforce and navy too, so again it has a wide base in which to include everyone.
The main concern that was brought up was time frames and start dates. Time frames refer to points in history and with helicopter they hav only really been in a large scale use since the end of the WW2. As for start date well i don't think it is best to start it too soon as ther are plenty of other campaigns doing the rounds particularly if you're an armour fan. Personally i think the end of the year would be a good time to start those campaigns, however you might think i am wrong so please add your comments to this thread and i will make a not of it.

Hi Phantom
Glad I was able to make it for last night's meeting. Well done for organising it, despite your recent problems.
As you know, I'm definitely up for the helicopter campaign, so I'll watch out for details. :-)
I'll be away for two weeks from tomorrow, so I hope all your troubles will be over by the time I get back and there are plenty of new posts under your true identity!! :-)
All the best
Rowan

Phantom,
As you were saying before this beasty I'm working with kicked me out the other night, I will give it a try. If it is later as you say, maybe my skills will have improved by then. I have my eye on a whirly. It does include resin. I will need to learn how to work with it. So many others use it, I'm sure I will have picked it up by then. So when you make the announcement, I will order it and join.
