t-34 in 1/25th

does anyonre know if tamiya's T-34 inn 1/25th is any good or has any major problems with accuracy???

never saw it in person but it is very old, and I really doubt much good

I own the SU-100 in 1/25th scale, Tamiya kit.

And since the bottom hull and rear deck is basically a T-34...

Well all i can say is the accuracy leaves much to be desired. Its no where near what you get from the likes of dragon or tamiya of today. You will need references...lots of scratchbuilding supplies or you could cake the lower hull in mud and concentrate on the rear deck or other parts of the kit.

But it will take TLC to make it look reasonable.

I remember seeing a T34/85 complete but unpainted in a thrift shop once. I almost bought it.
The overall shape was good, but it would take a lot of white plastic and brass mesh to improve. It would not be impossible though. The tracks were link and pin and not too bad, but they were either HDPE or PPand would be a trial to paint.
A contest winner if you did a good job.
