You're insane. Anywho, good luck with it all. I'm watching this one just like the others. Also, get the Real Model wheels. The kit wheels are too small and Real Model has the right size. Also, check out his and Sebastian's build. they made this kit look like a piece of cake, which I'm sure you will do the same! That would be me

You are either:
a) a skin-flint when someone else is not paying
b) A masochist
c) totally insane
Please choose one of the above

Hi Sean, The kit I have has the correct wheels I would think, guess it's a second batch. Hope I'm not wrong.
Yup Milo & Seb are inspirations, they make it look so easy! Just wished they did my homework for me and tackled the US version instead!

Roger that Seb, but I'll have to measure the thickness of the hull first and covert to 35scale.

Robert youthinks right, I have what I need now.

Luke, the best thing I can advise you is to quit school and get a job. But the time you graduate, everything you learn will be outdated..

No seriously, it will be many months before I finalise the drawings to the master, but I'll share it with you if you remind then.

Vajra kit is $200 BTW.

Which in college translates to "beer money". Haha!

US$200 = approx SG$280
Average cost per Jug of beer = SG$15.
SG$280 = approx 18 Jugs.

Buffalo MPCV vs 18 Jugs of Beer vs Outdated School books.

Anyone know a US source for the Vajra Buffalo kit ? Vajra is now showing "sold out" on their web site, and the only thing a Google search turns up is some outfit out of China on eBay. I had hoped to eventually save enough to get one of these, and at one time the Cromwell Cougar MRAP, but I've given up on that one, LOL

So how's the project going Nick, any plastic being cut. I also have plans on scratchbuilding one using Real Model wheels. You'll be done before I even start.

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Hey Joe,No cutting. I'm still taking measurements and comparing to the real pics from Robert Skipper's CD reference. It's a real raw process.
Miloslav is sending me his Buffalo wheels.. surely be using those for this one.

No reason other than trying to "buy local" to support US hobby shops.

While I'm sure there must be a hobby shop somewhere that carries it, I've never seen one, and my job takes me aruond the country - world, actually, and I've not seen one in any shop. That includes Colpar's in Aurora, which usually has a little bit of everything in stock, including lots of resin items.
Besides, since last night, I've got a whole new incentive to pay as little tax as possible, and eBay helps quite nicely where that's concerned.

Very good point Been doing some looking around and it looks like eBay is the only route to get a resin Buff at the moment anyway.
