Hi all!
Well, finally managed to take some pictures of my finished Tilly from Accurate Armor. Painted with Acryllics weatered with oils and pigments.
Any comments welcome!
For those interested in the build, here is my full build review.
Cheers!

Hi Stefan,
Nice and dusty . The bonnet doesn't seem a good fit or have you left it free to display the engine?
I really enjoyed their Tilly my first full resin build.
I would spill some of the light dust upwards onto the lower sides of the tarp and maybe a little on the tarp roof. Some petrol spillage around the cap would be OK too.
Nice work.

Al, thanks for the comments.
I left the bonnet off so the engine could be "uncovered", guess I didn't place it correctly wehn I took the photos. I also noticed when reviewing the photos that the mickey mouse camo can't be seen on them... I might have to take some new photos... With dust added to the tarp...
Cheers!

Really nice work Thanks for posting it. Also it's nice to see a Hillman rather than an Austin for a change - i've been kinda Austin Tilly obsessed the last few weeks..
I'm particularly impressed with the tilt - how exactly did you get that effect? It does say a lot for Accurate Armour's casting that the tilt is so convincing even in its 'raw' (unpainted) state

Thanks Jim
I assume by tilt you mean the tarp? That is quite an impressive piece - on the outside. Due to moding restraints it is very thick and has no detail inside. But it looks so good on the outside I decided to keep it. The interior is hard to see anyway. The straps on the tarp are PE parts. I primed it with black first then added several layers of acryllic paint, washes and drybrushings. Don't remember the exact steps as I did it inbetween other things with whatever seemed right...
Cheers!
