I built the Trumpeter Private Military Contractors (PMCs) VIP Protection Detail figures for an ongoing project (in Dioramas) pretty much straight from the box. The only things I added are lead foil slings for the weapons.
They went together pretty well and I had no issues with them. I have heard all sorts of stories about how bad they were supposed to be, but to me they look pretty good. They do have some large feet, but they don't look too bad to me. They may be a little short too, but we'll just chalk them up to being short guys. The weapons are really nice and they come with lots of different scopes, laser pointers, flashlights, etc. to add to them. They also come with a bunch of extra gear to put on the figures. I think I only used about half of the gear and weapons add-ons.
Here they are.
A couple close ups.
All comments welcomed.
Thanks for looking.

Great work Gino, I've been following the build log as well, and its looking great.
The figures look really good, but for some reason I think the poses are a bit stiff.
Looking forward to see the finished dio.
Ps: what are the M4 attachments given?

Thanks Anirudh. They do look a little stiff, but I think they are still very usable.
As to the add-ons for the M4's, I don't know all the names of the different pieces, but you get a bunch of different scopes/sights to include the ACOG 4x and ACOG Reflex, a couple SureFire flashlights, a couple PEQ- 2 laser-dot sights, and two nice grenade launchers with slide molded open barrels.
Here is the add-on sprue.
It sure is. My alma mater. I like to personalize them a little. Go Gators!!

You look to have done a good job of them Gino. the leg detail on the first figure looks very soft, but I don't see the complaint about size showing itself here. What was your opinion on there scale?

I did mention it in my initial post,
"They may be a little short too, but we'll just chalk them up to being short guys."
When placed next to Dragon or resin figures, they are quite short. I think by themselves, they will be fine though.
