Just had a quick read, the 1st parachute regiment and 14th Panzer division were the main units at Cassino cant find anyreference to Tigers, but the 14th was made up by the Herman Goring Panzer division so Im sure that Luminary would have the best equipment in his division. hope this helps

Hi Easy, I think you have the 14.Pz Division confused with the 14.Panzer Korps ? The 14.PzD was an Eastern Front division, exclusively. ............Through The Steppes, the Mius, Charkow, and Don - etc. etc. and then encircled in the Stalingrad Pocket 1942/43, where it was completely destroyed by February, 1943. Then refitted & reformed in France & sent back to Russia until their surrender to the Russkies in 1945

Venom, Yes, both Heer & Luftwaffe Fallschirmjagers fought besides Tiger tanks in Italy, France & Russia ( or at least within sight of each other ). The only thing is to find & identify the specific Tiger & FJ unit's that supported each other. There are even quite a few photo's around with fallschirmjager riding on the hull's of Tiger tanks. I also have these photo's but no identity on the unit's pictured in them. I will see if I can dig up some verification.

Hi Venom, I did some searching in my book's. ........In Sicily 1943 - 3.Fallschirmjager Regiment was in a heated battled against the British 3rd Commando Div on the bridge at Ponte dei Malati in Agnone. The Brit's were pushed back off the bridge by the FJ's with help from a Tiger tank. The Brit Commando's were later reinforced by their own 5th & 50th Infantry div's and regained control of the bridge

Also from my book Tigers in Combat - Vol.1 ....... Tiger I's from 3.kompanie / sPz.Abt.508 were assigned to 6.Fallschirmjager Div in Mercatale, Italy on July 22, 1944.
