I was making a 1/48 T-72 about a year ago and for one reason or another i stopped making it. So for the last year its been sitting on my table collecting dust, until about a week ago when i put the tracks on and finished the hull when to my horrer i discover the turret i had completed dissapeared off the face of the earth. Im basically stuck with just the hull since i gave up all hope of finding it, any ideas on what to do with it?

diorama, knocked out T-72, a couple marines standing on top of it with their hands shading their eyes, looking off the base, and one of them pointing. Titled "Blew His Top," or "Lost His Head." scratch the interior.

Seen as one of the characteristics of a knocked out T-72 is the turret getting blown sky high due to the ammo storage underneath it, it seems one of your best option is to depict it blown up. A quick search of destroyed T-72's on google will show most with their turret blown away. The turret from one tank knocked out in the recent Georgia conflict, was actually blown up in the air and fell through a housing block away from the rest of the tank.
