Hey Guys, I found a couple of pics on the web of interior shots of Hummers, specifically the 1114 / 51 models. I am just about to start on the legend 1114 set and just have a question regarding the wiring of the comms gear. There certainly are a boatload of cables coming out of the comms equipment but I would like to know where it all goes. Obviously it goes somewhere but rather than just having cables coming out and heading in random directions I would like to be able to send the right leads to the right places. Cheers for any help.

I don't even think our 18E's knew where it went.

The bottom photo is an M1151, but setup the same.

Tony,
I'm the COMMO SGT for my unit, give me a few minutes and I will post exactly what you need. Along with Roberts pictures and what i will post you will have the correct cable diagram.

Thanks Robert and Pete, much appreciated. Another question, now that Robert post the 2 new pics. In the second photo, the BFT has no keyboard. Is it missing or a touchscreen?

Keyboard? We don't need no stinkin' keyboard! Note stylus stowed on the right.

You assume 18 series guys can type. Never make assumptions.

The BFT is touch screen but the keyboard is stored in a compartment right under the screen. I will post pics of that too for ya.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I think I had a lapse of mental judgement when I decided to try a simple Hummer kit after a 2 year break from modelling.

Here you go Tony. This is what it looks like when we first install the radios. After time and maintenance and pulling mounts and cables out, the radios look like what Robert posted.

If you want some added realism note the angle of the seats in my second photo. This was the only one of our four gun trucks that still retained the cushions. We removed them from the others to give us more room.
If you don't push them back like that it's very difficult to maneuver properly.
