Hello. I've been working on this diorama since last fall and I think it's ready for display. 1/35:
- Tamiya SAS Jeep.
- Academy M3 Grant with Neo-Grade suspension upgrade and stowage.
- Verlinden resin desert building.
- SAS figures are Evolution Miniatures.
- Verlinden Bedouin & Camel.
- Reclining soldier and Grant crew in the hatch are Hobby Fan with Hornet heads.
- Desert Rat captain is Verlinden
- Desert Rat Cpl in shorts is verlinden with a Hornet head.
Hope you enjoy the pics. (Some foregrounds were photoshopped to make pics a little more realistic)

Wow is the word for this scene! Interesting and well done all around. Super figures, groundwork, and building. But the Gant has a perfect carpet-bagging traveler look.
Great job Tyrel!
Cheers for the sandbox!

Hi Tyrel. Very nice diorama. You caught the oasis nicely, and both figures and vehicles are well done. The only thing that lets it down are the palm trees. They look a bit perfect ... almost toy-like.

Great work, your figure painting is excellent, although i'm afraid Frank is right about the trees.

Great dio! I really love desert scenes and there's so much great stuff going on in this one.
Maybe a little less depth of field on the pics next time though. That's one thing that immediately makes things look like a model. Medium to long distance shots of a scene usually have everything in focus, you only get such extreme DOF changes when your focusing on something like a person from the waist up in front of a backdrop that is 15+ feet away.
