Hello all,

A long time lurker finally moves out of the lurking an into the posting! I am posting to ask for you assistance in a little project of mine. Now for the sad part, last November my Grandpa finally clog popped and having come across a project on here dedicated to a deceased Grandparent (based on the fall of Singapore) I thought it would be fitting to do something similar, to cut a long story short he was in the RAVC which entailed him fixing camels in India and chasing loose horses in Germany. I found out from my mum that he spent his time in Germany in the company of a VW Beetles (presumably one of Ivan Hirst's early ones) an I thought I'd just ask if anyone had any details regarding the British army beetles of the period?

All help is welcome an I will be sure to fill you in on developments later on!
