I sent Gaoyue a message and he said that he was indeed working with Hobbyboss on these Landrovers and that they are still testing and improving parts.

I just hope their release date isn't too far away.

Anyway, we'll see what Jim will post next week.

Gee, if PMMS was still working, this'd be old news by now...

I find that as ill-informed as it is insulting . FYI, we've been the ONLY English-speaking site to have a direct line to HB & Trumpeter. That means, we're the first to get images and News.

Clear enough?

O snap! I'd better start saving money now! Wow, thank goodness for Hobbyboss. It's gonna be early Christmas in summer this year.

Detail looks pretty sharp too. Hmm, RAF Regiment perhaps?

Hope not, you'll never be able to move it more than four foot from the box!

Would love to see a plain old Land Rover Wolf 110, I can build my own detachment![/quot

What may be reassuring is that a friend of mine is currently working on HB's Sd.Kfz 222 and, according to him (and he's a very demanding character ) it's one of the best and most accurate models on the market. HB seems to be developing some REAL style at the moment..

Thanks for that.

Uh, didn't realise I'd trodden on sensitive toes.

Guess I'll disappear back down my burrow for another year or so then.

It's 100% Wolf, the lashing points, air intake boxes are a dead givaway. I've been driving all versions for years now.
Now to which version they plan to release would be unlimited, the bog standard GS soft top and hard top would great as these can both be utilised in various roles, but looking at the photos,,, on the left side of the rear load bed are two squares these are only found on the WMIK vehicles to keep ammo boxes in place. I look forward to the next picture releases.

I'm already planning on buying, building and converting. Good on Hobbyboss for taking on a subject that modellers have clearly been waiting for. I'm sure it will prove to be a profitable decision!

I hope there will be at least the possibility to convert to Dutch Marines. Better yet, just issue a Dutch Marines version. With figures - that would be unique.

Latest I have from HobbyBoss is that release date will be December/January

On a related subject, i've supplied HB with a very extensive series of images of a LR ambulance...

Fingers crossed!
