I saw this on the Italeri website today, the "new" M1097 A2 in 1/35th Scale
Here's a link http://italeri.com/Kit.aspx?PROD=01854
I dunno, at a glance it looks like the old Italeri kit to me (maybe with the old revell sprue added)??
..anyone else got any input??

Hi Roy,
as I feared, it`s just some kind of recycling from Italeri. The key features of the M1097 ( "agressive" pattern wheels, different rear view mirrors) are missing, also missing are the fabric doors. I really wonder why Italeri releases the HEMTT kit in China but not in the rest of the world? And decals? Yellow bumper code background and a vehicle from ODS? Someone have to tell the Italians about the HMMWV. It will cost here in Germany around 13 Euros, but thats a lil`to much for this ****.
Italeri has clearly better days in modern vehicles.
Best Regards
Hans-Hermann

Looks like the retooled Revell (Italeri) M1038 HMMWV kit to me. I reviewed it several years ago before the current crop of Tamiya HMMWVs.
The 11 CAV markings are from post Desert Storm. They arrived in theater after the end of the war.
