Dear Michael,
I spent several weeks with the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment recently and took many photos of the new M1128 Stryker MGS. In a few weeks a company will publish the book with interior, exterior and action photos. So I can just suggest you to wait some days with completing your model.
Kind regards from Munich
Ralph

Ralph,
I'm getting ready to start my Stryker MGS in a few days!
Let me know where I can get this book!
I was attached to the 2nd ACR (before it became the 2nd SCR) during the first Gulf War.
Thanks!
Richard S.

Question for you MGS crewman, How do you get the M26A1 MBD into the tube and where do you stand during boresighting? I have the kit to build myself as a former Cav tanker I would love to make my MGS 2nd SCR.

Tom,
my book M1128 Stryker MGS will answer this detail with a photo :-) the Regimental Master Gunner used a foldable ladder for boresighting.
Richard,
withing a few days the publisher will put a news link on this website but currently I can not release the name

The crews don't boresite their own guns? Well we were always short Master Gunners, We used to boresight our own guns. When I started tanking before the M26 we used the string and binos as our standard method. I can't wait for the book. The MGS kit can sit on the shelf till its out.
