Hi guys,

U know this M577 Command Post Vehicle comes with four figures.
But i cannot decide what era are these figures !? Look like "Nam" but !?!?..
Does anybody know what years are these uniforms ?
Just in case i decide to make a diorama.
Thanx from now.

look like 60's or 70's although i think that the m577 is still in service so doesnt really
matter to much just melt the figures under the sun to improve their features #:-)

Uni's are for US ARMY 70's and US National Guard through the mid 80's. THe uniform depicted is the standard Uni before the modern BDU's.

There is no definite answer to your question. To be vietnam era, they would need jungle fatigues which had pockets on the pants legs. None of the figures have these, but two of the figures have a hint of the jungle fatigue tops. You could use them for very early vietnam era, i.e. prior to jungle fatigue issue. They more closely represent post vietnam up to early 80's when the BDU was introduced. If you want to use them for vietnam, then just use putty to add the pockets to the pants legs. For post vietnam, the two figures with the shirt tails out could be explained as being in the summer uniform posture. It was quite common to wear your shirt tail out during summer months in the 70's (at least in germany)

I hope this is helpful and not confusing
