Anyone have this set? If so, how is it? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Sorry Bret I didn't notice the number of the kit. Ignore everything I wasn't here.

Hey Brett,
If it's set #6055, it's one of Dragon's earliest, issued back in the 1990's.
Not a bad set but certainly not up to today's standards.
Dragon did a more recent set, #6212 that's better tooled.
Cheers

The fit is not great and the detail is very soft. Apart from the Leather Jerkin worn by the Bren Gunner there's nothing in this set that isn't better represented in 6212

Yes, it is indeed 6055 I was asking about. Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll cross that one off the list and just go with 6212.

(how the heck did I come up with 6605?)

Hey Brett,
The one unique thing about Dragon's kit #6055 is that two of the figures wear the Mk. III "turtle " helmet that was issued to assault troops for D-Day.
I'm not sure if any other figure set ever had those type of helmets.
Cheers

they were easy to build but are alittle oversized
this is what i did wit a box of them
i sculpted and cast my own legs and a pair of arms for the driver to turn them into a jeep crew
you should get a box of them and see what you think
regards andrew
