Hi:
I am getting a little older and I was wanting to do some models of what I drove in the military. I did some models when I was a kid, but nothing since. I did try to search the internet on my own, with not so great results.
I did find a bunch of M1025s, but I can't find any MRC Hummers or M927/928 trucks. Can anyone give me any pointers towards these kits? I would really like 1/64 but anything will do in a pinch.
Thanks

Thanks! That was quick.
Looks like it is about $40 from that United Fun. Is that a good price? Somewhere else to order it from?
Any idea on a MRC Hummer?
Thanks again.

You can also order it from Arsenal-M own online shop :

The price appears to be quite similar

HI Gary,
I for myself bought a Italeri M-925 truck ( 1/35 ) and a resin conversion from Real Model ( 1/35 )
Combined they will make a M-927 XLWB !
Good luck !!

You could also buy two of the Italeri M925 kits (or an M925 and an M923A1) and lengthen the frame and combine two beads to make the stretched version. This option would still be way cheaper than the Real Model conversion set. You would still have pretty much the rest of the M923A1 (minus the bed) and could build it as an M932 tractor as well.

Hi Gary,
with MRC do you mean the Mobile Radio Communications version with Helmet hard top? If yes, there`s a conversion kit from ProArt Models available.
Check: http://www.proartmodels.be
For the M927 truck I must say that the Italeri kit contains a lot of flaws. according to the AM General brochure: the overall width is too narrow, also too narrow in length and width is the cargo area. I would prefer building the cargo area from scratch.
Hope this helps
