Just how accurate are the resin parts in the Italeri M1A1 Abrams tank model kit? As well, what should the proper interior colour be for this model?
Picked one up dirt cheap (less than half of the listed retail at the local shop), looks like an interesting build.
Thanks in advance for all replies.

Art,
Not all that accurate, but it depends on what you will see through the open hatches. You can search on this site for some such as this posting M1A1s with interior details, and here is a kit comparison by Pawel "VODNIK" Krupowicz: Vodnik's Comparison of M1A1/M1A2 Abrams kits. The last section discusses the sprues for the interior parts of the older DML kit.

But it's for you to decide. Like you said, you got the kit for REAL cheap!

The interior of all M1-series tanks is painted in gloss white.
