I used the small testors spray can of OD to paint a tank, and ran out...I have a bottle of MM Acryl OD, I could airbrush to finalize the coat.
Since they are the same company,...What are my hope of a close match?

The thing to remember is that they are different formulations, so they'll likely look slightly different. That being so, if they are the same FS number, then they should be close enough. What you might want to do is finish the model with the Acryl, then feather this paint out over the other coat to create a very gradual blend. This way, there should be no noticeable transition between the paints.

I think that MoldrMike is right. On top of that if you will apply a filter to your model you should be able to blend the differences even better.
